Replacement doors? I have some old storage cupboards in my garage for paint etc. However the doors are now completely knackered and falling apart. Is it feasible to get the doors replaced as looking at the prices for replacement cupboards and the hassle of disposal etc. and where would I go to get this done. Been a couple of places and they suggested MDF which is a bit thick as the doors are pannelled with each panel (2) on each door about the thickness of plywood.
When purchasing replacement windows and doors (in my case vinyl) does it pay to go expensive? The cost of high end replacement patio doors and windows is like 3-4 times as the ones you can by at Lowe's or Home Depot. If they last longer, wear better, they might be worth it, but I'm not a rich man, and if the differences are minimal, I don't want to shell out the big bucks. Thanks in advance for any advice and/or sources.

Where can I find a low profile door knob replacement for "lower leg" level interior storage doors? Where can I find replacement keys for interior bathroom doors? When the builder was done with our house, he left a key above every bathrom/privacy door. Over time, they have been lost. I know you can use a nail or something, but its nice to have that real key that works so well right above the doors. We have now lost the last one, and I had to scramble around the house to unlock a door that my son locked (again). Does Jeld-wen offer replacement glass inserts for aluminum french doors? After a recent break-in attempt, I have been trying to order a replacement Glass insert for my French doors. Home Depot and Lowes say that I have to replace the entire set of doors. I know this must be BS. It would be too expensive to replace the entire door set, unless I paid the deductible on my renters insurance. I kind of dont want to spend $1500.00 on a new set of doors, nor do I want to spend $1000.00 for my deductible if there is a way to just order the replacement insert.
Where can I find replacement "brushed weatherstripping" for my existing storm doors and windows? This stuff should come in a roll and slides in a track around the outside of the frame that the door seals to. After years of wear it becomes ineffective and needs replacement. I don't want a new door. I need and would like to buy some new "brushed weatherstripping" to seal my door and to soften its closing landing. fly, not the ones in my area! They don't have it! They would, however, be more than happy to sell you a new door! lol

I have an 1981 S10 pickup and i am trying to put replacement doors that i have for it and...? The door hinge has a silicone adhesive on it (or looks like it). Should i pry the hinge off or how can i take the door off of it or how should i go about taking these doors off? I've already taken the bolts out but i am not sure about the adhesive on it. Why do the sliding closet doors touch each other? The back door go on the track. The front rubs and pops off. Closet wood sliding doors replacement. The back door goes on the track nicely.
