What do I use to lubricate and moisten material-backed teak accordion doors?
I've already used teak oil but it didn't seem to do much except improve the appearance of the teak. The doors work very hard and have broken twice, so I'm really looking for something to make them run smoothly and to keep the backing moist so it doesn't dry out so much.

- if its a teak refresher you want, buy teak oil at the harware and wipe or brush it on to reiuvenate the finish..if the wood is a little rough a little lite sanding first.
- try some beeswax in the side grooves...
