How do you fix interior sliding wood doors?
I have sliding wood doors inside the house (connects room to room) that has gotten tight and sticky, due to natural shifts in the house. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

- If you have an electric planer or router you might consider cutting door,s top and bottom down just a little and then remount hardware.sometimes it is easer to fit door to frame than to resquare door caseing and frame. if they slide good no one will know the diff. but you.
- Apply lubricant to the castors or points of friction
- spray way too much wd-40 at the top and bottom of the 'sliding door'. make sure it rides properly on its track. happy tool timing.
- it could be the door, you may need to sand it down some or plane it,or the door guide might need lubricating,or you might have to adjust door guide.
- Try putting wax down in the runners..it will slide easier.
